The Kamloops NorthPaws have added Alexa Cochran to the staff for the 2022 season. Alexa will work closely alongside NorthPaws players to help them maximize their on-field performance.

Alexa graduated from the University of BC Okanagan with her Bachelor of Human Kinetics and a specialization in Clinical Exercise Physiology.

She is currently a member of the BC Association for Kinesiologists and Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology as a Certified Personal Trainer.

Alexa was born in Kamloops and grew up playing a variety of sports including basketball, soccer, volleyball and skiing. Participating in those activities and experiencing her own array of injuries she was led to choosing a career in Kinesiology.

Throughout her degree, she found interest in working within sports and spent time working with the UBCO women’s volleyball team as their Senior Student Trainer.

Alexa strives to bring everyone to their greatest capabilities, whether that be for performance or activities of daily living. Following an injury, she believes using a mix of passive techniques and active rehabilitation is the best way to achieve these results.

Welcome to the NorthPaws Alexa!
